Estars were extremely honoured to not only be nominated for an award at the GESS Gala Awards dinner, but by taking home the gold and winning the award!
In the category of “Best Product to Promote Wellbeing in the Classroom” – the panel of 20 esteemed Judges awarded EStars’ Esports Club the winning vote. There were a total of 10 other nominees in that same category.
This marks the second award won by the EStars team in 2022.
EStars has partnered with AD Gaming – a phenomenal gaming & education esports initiative – to help promote the importance of gaming and esports within the classroom and how it will be an integral part of education in the future. Since 2021, the two entities are solidifying the use of educational esports in Abu Dhabi, the rest of the UAE, and the surrounding Gulf areas.
Commenting on the award, Rima Jalodi, Head of Education for EStars said: “The team and I are delighted to have received this award in recognition of the EStars Esports Club. The Esport Club is a powerful and engaging tool in implementing esport into ECAs. The club enhances and promotes the wellbeing, creativity, and critical thinking strategies among students across the world.

The GESS Gala Awards Dinner ceremony was held at The H Hotel in Dubai and included 20 other education categories throughout the evening.
