Abu Dhabi, 18 June 2022 – AD Gaming partner ATTARIUS Network has launched its ATRN utility token to create a comprehensive blockchain gaming ecosystem in Abu Dhabi – a first for the region. Through the token and ATTARIUS’ platform, game developers across the region can now develop games utilising the latest cryptographic technologies, and gamers will be able to earn through play-to-earn games.

Now available in a pre-launch phase ahead of its public IDO (Initial Dex Offering), the ATRN token provides utility to and acts as a foundation for the ATTARIUS Network and broader GameFi ecosystem, unlocking the full potential of the platform for both game developers and gamers alike. A total of eight million ATRN will be available during the pre-launch phase.

Targeting the long-term growth of Abu Dhabi’s thriving gaming sector, AD Gaming is establishing a comprehensive community that allows game developers and publishers to connect with gamers across the world. This latest announcement further enhances the existing ecosystem, allowing game developers in Abu Dhabi to build their games on the blockchain using a bespoke API (Application Programming Interface) provided by ATTARIUS.

According to a report published by DappRadar and Blockchain Game Alliance, the blockchain gaming industry grew 2,000% last year, and is projected to reach global revenues of $40 billion by 2025.
