Boss Bunny, the Abu Dhabi-based mobile games developer and twofour54 partner, is set to become the Middle East arm of Waysun Inc., a U.S.-based entertainment and video game company after selling a majority stake to the firm less than two years after the start-up was launched.
This deal will allow Boss Bunny to utilise the backing of Waysun to increase efficiencies and guide the next phase of the company’s growth as Waysun’s publisher in the Middle East and North Africa (MENAT).
Waysun Inc. is a full-service entertainment and gaming company for owned and licensed content distributed across mobile, PC and TV platforms in global markets. With 150 casual games already on the market, Waysun is working on new creative offerings that will continue to drive the industry forward. The company’s portfolio of games emphasize simplicity, while being dynamic and challenging. Waysun’s U.S. headquarters are in Orlando, Florida with global presence in markets including China and the UK. The deal with Boss Bunny sees it expand into MENAT for the first time, as part of Waysun’s strategy to become an industry leader on a global scale.

Boss Bunny was established in early 2020 with twofour54 Abu Dhabi, the media, entertainment and gaming hub, and was supported by the Government’s AD Gaming initiative under which Abu Dhabi is being transformed into a global gaming hub.

Boss Bunny Games is a mobile games developer and publisher with headquarters in Abu Dhabi and a business office in Dubai. Founded in 2020, Boss Bunny Games has been working towards establishing itself as the main mobile games developer and publisher in the MENAT region.
